Generous Donors Help Keep Kids in Sight

Our May 18th Wine and Dine to Keep Kids in Sight fundraiser was an evening of incredible wine, food and alliance that helped raise critical funding to empower children with visual impairment and their families. Guests were treated to Lamborn Family Wines by the proprietors themselves, Mike and Terry Lamborn, who poured a variety of vintages all handcrafted by winemaker superstar Heidi Barrett. Internationally acclaimed Lucques provided their delicious market-driven fare. The spectacular Workplace Innovation Lab was the contemporary setting for the intimate evening generously hosted by Coretrust Capital Partners. Event Co-chairs Amy Ricci and Barbra Zukerman were responsible for transforming the idea of this event into a sold-out success.

Thank you to our generous guests and silent and live auction winners for helping to raise funds that will increase vision education and support services for newly diagnosed children with visual impairment and their families in need.

Partners for Pediatric Vision works alongside partner eye doctors who specialize in determining the extent of a child’s functional vision. Our Family Specialists provide education and support during and after the exam. Children who receive our services benefit from adaptations that take into account their vision loss and families learn ways to maximize their child’s success. As a result of our vision educator and pediatric eye doctor collaboration, families receive early pediatric eye care and support services that result in improved outcomes for their child, their family and the communities that serve them. There is no insurance reimbursement or state funding that covers the cost of the services we provide and the need continues to grow.
