Who is eligible?

Partners for Pediatric Vision is a free education and support service available to the families of children birth to eighteen years of age who have received a vision exam from one of our partner eye doctors or clinics. In addition, we offer telephone support to families who have questions about how to help their child with visual impairment.

Partners for Pediatric Vision works alongside Low Vision Optometrists and Pediatric Eye Doctors during the eye exam. Follow up services continue after the exam in order to help families understand their child’s visual diagnosis and to help guide intervention next steps. As a result of their involvement with Partners for Pediatric Vision, parents will be able to explain how their child’s visual impairment impacts development and what can be done to accommodate for their child’s loss of vision.

What is the first step in starting services?

Call or email Partners for Pediatric Vision or simply schedule an eye exam for your child at one of the offices listed. A variety of insurance plans are accepted. We encourage you to call the offices with any questions about eligibility. A Family Specialist will meet you at your child's exam.
